I’m telling you about my shield. My first symbol is annulet. Annulet means I’m 5th in my family. My oldest sister is Lauren, next is Isaac, next is Karla and last is Valerie. My second symbol is tiger. The tiger means agility. The cross means eighth. I’m eighth in my 2 half brothers and half sister. My half sisters live at my neighbors. Now you know about my shield.

In the Middle Ages, knights had symbols on. This was so people can know who they are when they are dressed in their battle armor their shields. I’m going to tell you about my shield symbols. My first symbol is a crescent. That means I’m the second in my family. Mike is the first in my family. Zach is the third in my family.
My second symbol is a speed arrow. That means I’m really fast. I’m faster than Mike almost. Zach is slow. But my dogs run really fast. It’s hard to keep up with them. Some times it’s fun to race but not all the time.
My third symbol is my sun. Because I show human inside me, people say I am a splendid person. For example, I help people carry food . I also help my next door neighbor carry stuff in her house because she is old sort of. So now you know you should choose the right symbols to tell about yourself. And now you know why knights have symbols on their shields.

I will tell you some facts about knights and their shields and why they put symbols on them. If you are interested in knights and shields then like this. I am going to tell you what my three symbols mean. My first symbol is a red stag. It means you are a good hunter and it means you are brave. I put it there because I am a good hunter. Here is an example of why I am a good hunter. This year I filled up my deer tag.
My next symbol is a star, I have stripes on my shield too. The star means I am the youngest in my family. The stripes on my shield mean I am from Norway. I am the youngest in my family because my sister is 14 and my other sister is 20. My last symbol is a saint. It means you are brave and you are a good fighter. All of those symbols are on a red strip going horizontally. One more thing, I have a gold background for looks. It really doesn’t mean anything. I really say I am a good fighter but I am a good wrestler. In conclusion now you know what all my symbols mean. You are probably still wondering what the symbols are for so I will tell you. They have them so people know who they are because the knights are covered in armor when they are in battle.

When knights are in armor the people do not know who they are so they raise up their shield and now the leader and the king and queen know. I am going to tell you about all three of my symbols on my shield. The first symbol is the one that looks like the letter E and that means that I am the oldest kid in my family. I am the oldest because I am 10. There are two more kids and they are younger then me because they are 8 and 7 years old. Dillon is my brother and he is the 8 year old. Jordan is my cousin and he is the 7 year old. The next symbol is the one like a tower and that means strength. Strength maybe means to never give up-to keep on trying. I usually help my grandpa with really heavy stuff. For example like when my grandpa is like moving my little brother’s doghouse. The last symbol and that one is the hand the hand means generosity. I am very generous because I am always sharing because I am almost nice. I sometimes share my stuff with my brother and cousin. Thank you for reading my story for my shield.

What is small and silver? It’s my shield. There are three symbols on my shield. I will tell you all of them. The first symbol on my shield is a tower .For protection. If I we to get in a fight, I would protect myself. I will protect my friends at all costs. The second symbol is an arrow. It is for speed. I am fast at P.E. races. Like one time Nolan threw a ball at me, it missed and I threw a ball at him. Kim and I were racing, she was ahead and I passed her. My last symbol is a cross. The cross is for heart. I love animals more than anything. I cried all night when my cat died. It ate some mouse poisoning.
My shield is silver. I like it that way so it does not look like I’m ruler of some land. I’m nothing more than a lonely knight. It pains me to say that I have no land just like other kingdoms. I don’t. I get paid like two cents. That’s how cheap the king is.
Listen to this. Last week the gossip girls got seven gold coins for talking to the queen. The only time I get to talk to the queen is when I’m telling her bad news because the king is being a coward Well, now you know about my shield. It is made of silver metal with colored symbols and it represents my personality.

Do you want to know why I chose the falcon to put on my shield? I chose the falcon because it looks cool and it said bravery. When I was 8 years old, I was playing on the merry-go-round and there was a girl who was slipping off. I caught her before she fell. The crescent on my shied shows that I am the second child in my family. I have a sister who was born before me so she is older. Then on May 16, I was born. And now you know some facts about my shield and me.
